8:00 10:00am - Sign In & Registration. 9:00 9:30am - Black Belts; Coaches; Referees & Rules Seminar. 9:30am - Welcome & Start of Competition. - Opening ceremonies & Form Grand Championships. - Sparring Competition Begins for Olympic & Point Sparring Championships. - Black belt Sparring Begins.

Competition in: Forms: Tae Kwon-Do Forms WTF; ITF; WTA & AAU Traditional (WTF, ITF, WTA, Tang Soo-Do, Karate, Kung-Fu/Wushu) Open (Creative, Musical, Team & Extreme) Weapons (Traditional & Open)
Form Grand Championships will be contested between the 1st place winners of EACH Form Division. Traditional Forms and Open/Weapons winners will compete in SEPARATE Grand Championships.
Sparring: Olympic (USTU, AAU, WTF) Point (AKA Rules)
1st place thru 8th place will be awarded in both Sparring & Forms.

TOURNAMENT RULES
THIS TOURNAMENT IS AKA SANCTIONED, AKA DIVISIONS & RULES WILL BE APPLICABLE
Forms
Competitors will be scored on form in accuracy, power, stances, balance, breath control and intensity.
Breaking
Competitors will be scored upon whether or not the break was successful, number or breaks performed and level of difficulty of the techniques performed.
Point Sparring
Modified AKA & NASKA Rules will apply. There will be one 2 minute round. Points can be scored by acceptable hand technique (1 Point) or by kicking to the body (2 Points) or by kicking to the head (3 Points). The majority of judges will decide if a point(s) is valid after each call for point If ever there is a 5 point advantage to one competitor, the match will end immediately. If the time limit expires, the competitor with the most points will win. If there is a tie, there will be a sudden death round with the first valid point deciding the winner. Warnings will be called for excessive contact, Striking illegal target areas or using illegal techniques, pushing or shoving, or avoiding your opponent. The warning system 1st warning will be a point deduction; 2nd warning will be a point deduction; 3rd warning will be disqualification. Immediate disqualifications Excessive contact causing the opponent to bleed or resulting in an injury, or if excessive contact seemed intentional. Illegal techniques example: kicking to the leg and your opponent cannot continue the fight. Competitors will be required to have mouthpiece, groin cup(male), head gear, hand gear, foot gear, shin/instep guards and forearm guards. Chest protectors will be optional.
Olympic Sparring
Modified USA TKD Rules will apply. Points will be scored by judges around the ring on a continuous basis. Points can be scored by kicking to the body (1 Point) or to the head (2 Points) or with a strong punch to the body (1 Point) NO hand techniques to the head are allowed. Take note that ANY illegal technique will lead to disqualification NO EXCEPTIONS Competitors will be required to have mouthpiece, groin cup(male), chest protector, head gear, shin/instep guard, forearm guard
General1. Report for your division as soon as it is called divisions will be called at least 3 times before bracketing begins. Once bracketing starts you are NOT allowed to enter. NO LATE ARRIVALS! 2. Changes to divisions might be necessary but will be done on a fair basis by the tournament director depending on number of competitors. We will try to keep to the divisions as set out. 3. 1 Restart will be allowed. 1 point will be deducted from each judges score by the score keeper. 4. Team Forms the highest belt or oldest competitor will determine which division to enter. 5. Immediate disqualification being disrespectful or showing of poor sportsmanship (this includes coaches, instructors or parents)
TAKE NOTE: If there is just 1 competitor in a division, the competitor will have the choice of taking 1st place or move up a division.
